June 10, 2009 — Gary and Betty Carlson, Coconut Creek resident, opened a bookkeeping business that provides small businesses with bookkeeping, accounting services, and tax preparation services.
Betty recently graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and is excited to become an active member of the business community.
Their services include managing financial records such as monthly statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and any other bookkeeping needs. Bookkeeping & Accounting Services of Broward County are also available for tax services and provide year-round consultations that enable businesses to develop a strategy that will take advantage of valuable tax reductions.
Bookkeeping & Accounting Services of Broward County’s main interest is helping businesses evaluate their financial standing and improve their returns. Originally from Colombia, Betty has lived in Florida for the past 11 years with her husband and beautiful little daughter. She first became interested in bookkeeping as she developed healthy strategies for the field while working in the banking and financial industry when living in Colombia.
Originally from Rhode Island, Gary has lived in Florida for the past 11 years with his wife and beautiful daughter. He became interested in tax preparation 10 years ago when he prepared his first personal tax return. Since then he has completed numerous returns to include personal and business.
